2024 Event
Although the 2023 event was well received, we did have significant problems with long lines and our supply of ribs - for 2024, we have made significant changes to address the issues. We eliminated the tasters to avoid confusion and we added two dinner seating times. Further, we have moved the bar outside and we will distribute the ribs directly from the competitors' BBQs.
Harbour and Sully Burrows are returning to entertain the crowd.
Legend Spirits Distillery will be running the bar
An Adult Sausage meal will be available for purchase for walk-in customers.
2023 Event
The 150th Committee wanted a community barbecue and the idea morphed into a Ribfest hosted by 14 community organizations.
$6000 was raised for local charities - WPDCSS, Harvest Share, McKellar Churches Restoration Fund, Lions Club, Scouts, and Legion.
Organizers
14 Community Groups are involved - come out and talk with them. They are all looking for members and volunteers.
