Scoring System
- Win = 2 points
- Tie = 1 point
- Loss = 0 points
Tiebreakers
- Head-to-head
- Goal differential
- Goals for
- Coin flip
Ties allowed in preliminary games, in playoffs, five minute sudden death overtime, then a coin toss. Finals - OT is golden goal
Quick Rules:
- Running time
- Faceoff only to start game (after goal, scoring team retreats to half)
- Ball out of play = quick restart
- No slapshots
- Only 3 players on the court at a time. No goalies required, as each team will have a full-size hockey net with a vinyl goalie target attached to it.
- Penalties (2 min):
- Any stick infraction (high sticking, slashing, tripping, cross-checking)
- After 3 penalties total, player is ejected from tournament
