Forest Bathing with Van Saberton Forest Bathing is a gentle, mindful walk designed to help you slow down, reconnect with nature, and rediscover the quiet wisdom of the natural world. Forest bathing, or Shinrin-yoku, is not about exercise or reaching a destination. It’s about immersing yourself in the present moment, awakening your senses, and allowing the forest to guide you toward calm and clarity. This will be a slow walk with guided invitations, a meditation/moment of stillness as well as a closing circle with tea to share your experiences if you feel called to. |

Pickleball & Badminton Demos with the Both activities can be slow or fast paced and typically played as doubles. Pickleball is a paddle sport with a tennis type net that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Badminton is played using a racket to propel a lightweight "birdie" back and forth across a chest high net. A key difference between these sports is that the "birdie" cannot touch the ground. Hand to eye coordination is the key along with fluidity of motion. |
