Paper Birch (Betula papyrifera)
Description
Paper (White) Birch - 1 yr. seedling, 45-60 cm.
Mature size - 50-70’ tall by 25-50’ wide.
Prefers partial shade.
Doesn’t tolerate draught well, so will need to be in a location where soil is moist and cool.
As the tree matures the bark will change to its iconic white.
