A brand-new non-profit community theater group has formed in the deep woods of Magnetawan wih Sue Lessard taking the lead as director in their debut theatre production of Do Not Resuscitate. It's a hilarious murder-mystery comedy guaranteed to bring you loads of laughter while you dine on an amazing meal.

Say No to No Mow May

You may be hearing a lot about No Mow May right now. The idea is that you should wait until June to cut your lawn so the bees have a chance to forage among the wildflowers there. Unfortunately, an initiative that works well in its original home (the UK) doesn’t translate here! Our native bees are buzzing among blossoming trees this time of year, while our lawns are mostly growing invasive and introduced plants that don't really nourish them. Letting those plants take off may do more harm than good.
