As we head into the busy season, we ask all residents and visitors to be considerate of those around them. Some of the most common neighbourhood concerns we receive involve excessive noise and dogs running at large.
A little courtesy goes a long way:
- Keep noise levels reasonable at all hours of the day and night
- Keep dogs leashed in all public spaces and under proper control
- Clean up after pets
Whenever possible, we encourage neighbours to respectfully resolve concerns directly with one another first. In many cases, a simple conversation can prevent misunderstandings and quickly resolve issues.
If concerns cannot be resolved, Bylaw Services may be contacted for assistance with municipal bylaw matters.
Please note:
- Concerns involving dogs running at large or aggressive dogs must be directed to the OPP
- Criminal matters, including trespassing concerns - handled by the OPP
- Any life or safety threatening emergencies - contact 911
We are fortunate to live in an area known for its natural beauty and strong sense of community. Let’s all do our part to help ensure everyone can safely and peacefully enjoy everything our community has to offer.
