Show Off Your Garden Prowess!

The McKellar Agricultural Fall Fair is coming up on September 12th, and your plants can play a part! Help showcase McKellar’s bounty (and win prizes!) by entering:

  • Grains like beans, peas, corn and sunflowers
  • Produce like potatoes, squash, carrots and herbs
  • Flowers like dahlias, asters, zinnias and echinacea
  • Bouquets of various flowers
  • Potted plants

Make sure you read the guidelines before harvesting your plants; often the judges are looking for a certain amount of stem or even dirt to be preserved to show it’s home-grown. Download the fair book here!

    You'll pick up your entry tickets on the Wednesday before the fair and drop your entries off on the Thursday. General instructions can be found on the first page of the fair book, titled "McKellar Fall Fair Prize List."
